DL-Malic Acid – Restoring Natural Fruit Juice Sensation
DL-Malic Acid, also known as DL-apple acid, is a commonly used acidulant with higher acidity compared to citric acid. It is approximately 1.2 times as acidic as citric acid, providing a richer acidity with milder tartness. DL-Malic Acid is widely used in jellies and fruit-based products to enhance their flavor.
