L-Isoleucine – One of the Branched-Chain Amino Acids
L-Isoleucine, also known as 2-Amino-3-Methylpentanoic Acid, is one of the essential amino acids in the human body. It belongs to the group of aliphatic, neutral amino acids and is optically active.

Benefits

  • L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine are all branched-chain amino acids, contributing to muscle recovery after training. Among them, L-Isoleucine is the most effective branched-chain amino acid, preventing muscle loss effectively by rapidly converting into glucose. Increasing glucose levels can protect muscle tissue from damage, making it particularly suitable for bodybuilders.
