1,3-propanediol is mainly used to synthesize polymer materials with excellent performance. Functions

The main use of PDO is as a polymer monomer for the synthesis of bio-based polymer material PTT polyester. Bio-based PTT fiber has the characteristics of high tensile strength, good elasticity, easy dyeing and good color fastness, and is recyclable. Because its fabric has good dimensional stability, soft hand feel, excellent resilience, easy cleaning, good stain resistance and anti-static properties, it has the titles of “memory fiber” and “king of fibers” and is widely used in clothing, carpets and non-wovens.
